The lake is awesome and the camping is nice. When they say "rustic" they really mean it. The fire ring was worn totally out! Fortunately, the view made up for the condition of some of the site
Beautiful spot on the lake. Tons of watercraft activity. Wish there were more bank & pier fishing opportunities
Sites #41,#43, and #47 are the best sites. RIGHT on the lake.
Big disappointment this was our family's first tent camping trip in South Carolina and we chose this place because it had good reviews but when we got there we realized that this had really bad placing for any sort of camping that was not for RV'S it does not have clean walkways and there is no car accessibility for you to drop of your stuff. REALLY UNRECOMENDABLE FOR CAMPING IN A TENT.
Great place to camp. They have showers and tent lots near water. Also boat ramp is available. Air conditioned cabins are there too. If you rent a boat or pontoon than it's even more fun. I drove 6 hours there from Florida 2 times this year and I'll do it again next year for sure.
